Phoenix Vs Japanese Select-11
23.11.08 - TEAM NEWS
Meet at Tufnell Park fields (Campdale Road, N1) at 11.30am sharp. Bring £5. Grass.
Mixer conceded game against us - so congratulations Phoenix are through to the quarter-finals of the Group Cup after a hard fought victory against the Allstars and a draw against Groucho.
Time to consolidate and prepare for some tough games ahead – we have the very beatable Outback on the 30th November and a league game against Mixer (relegation dogfight) on the 7th of December.
Gower Squad social on Friday 12th of December – Phil is sorting venue – always a good night out this so make sure you can make it.
Rolling subs against this decent Japanese team that beat Allstars in pre-season. Phoenix welcome two new players including our first international. Competition for places will really kick in now that the squad have so many decent players back – so really work hard to stake your claim.
The Wall captains the side. Jon Hanna anchors the midfield with Miles and Jamie W on the flanks and Bradley and Lucas in the middle. Two upfront with the powerful Bolu and tricky Toby.
