Allstars match report vs Groucho AND squad for G.Cup vs FlyoverTuesdays Sun 15th Nov

The Allstars performed well and controlled the game against a well organised Groucho side – yet somehow lost the game 3-0.

This was one of those typical games where despite controlling the play, creating over a dozen chances, not one of them would convert and the Gowers were countered with three goals against the run of play.

A most frustrating day especially as there were strong performances from Tom and Mitch in defence and good contributions from a number of players including debutants Justin and Nik – and overall the team were left scratching their heads as to what they did wrong to walk away losers by 3 goals.

These days sometimes happen, and when confidence is not peaking, the rub of the green tends to go against you.

Disappointing yes, but plenty of opportunity to put it right in the rest of the season – as results went our way this week, with TPR and Outback drawing 3-3 in the league. As is stands Allstars have dropped 6 pts this season, Outback 5 points and TPR 4pts – so wins against these two later in the season, will put Allstars firmly in the driving seat against their rivals.

Lets get it right but putting extra effort, determination and belief into the next few performances and the Allstars can and will be back on track – winning their games, like they know how and how they should be.
