Outback FC vs Gower Allstars - match report May 2nd

Great game for Allstars.
Without a keeper, so Kelly kindly goes in goal - and we had no centre backs so Glyn had to play outfield.
Allstars had a v.strong team out though especially with attacking threats all over the pitch.
Gowers however get off to worst possible start after 20 mins, conceding two freakish goals from high balls

But then bounce back in style – fast.
2 slick well-taken goals from Botterill and two more blinders from sampson saw a 2-0 deficit turned on its head into a commanding and powerful 4-2 lead, against the title contenders.

A strong midfield combined with a great defensive back four performance saw any threat of Outback bouncing back early in the 2nd half, quashed – and gowers held strong throughout the 2nd half to bring home an important victory.

That win means the league is wide open, and I think, although am not positive because results have not been updated on the site, that we are still in with a shout if we win our next 2 games against TPR and Virgin.
