End of Season News

Several points for you to respond to:-

1) There is no more Weds night training until Mid-July which will start at Wildwood Road, Heath Extension, then mid-August will return to 7aside Mill Hill Powerleague. Keep an eye out on www.gowerfc.com for further updates.

2) The end of season jolly is Saturday night 27th June, at Paradise on the Green, (W10 4AE). Want all Gowers to attend please especially as a couple of Gowers are retiring this year, and attending for the final time.

3) The end of season Gower Cup (phoenix vs allstars match) is the very next morning 10am KO fresh with hangover, on Sunday 28th June, Whittington Park, Holloway Rd (N19 3NP), which will be followed by the End of Season “awards” lunch at The Landseer pub, finished by 2.30pm. This match is Rod “The Bison” Paleys and Dan “Bergkamp” Fleschs last ever for Gowers – as both these Gower legends have now officially retired from playing 11 a side. Consequently we would like as many players – both past and present - to play at least some part in this final who-ha of the season to send them off in style.
